  17.     I would like to know of any books that anyone could recommend
  18. me to regarding winsock and installing net software. I am very much a
  19. beginner at this and only am able to figure out simple things on my
  20. own. I have all the programs gratis from my school's hired hacker but
  21. I don't know how to use it. I have Mosaic20c? I have winqvt, I have
  22. winsock, what I want to do is setup these various programs from my
  23. laptop when i call in to my unix account. Is this possible? i am using
  24. a 14.4 modem that has v42 capability and the account is local, but can
  25. I gain net access without actually being hard-lined connected? Am I
  26. even using these terms well? Please! any advice or suggestions would
  27. be greatly appreciated!

  60. I'm on a 486 DX266, I upgraded to WFWG 3.11 around the 1st of the year
  61. and love it.  The 32 bit file access added noticeable improvement on
  62. my system.  While I don't agree with some claims I read that it is 100%
  63. faster, I can tell the difference.
